Craig Matthews is a Maltese DJ shaped by the 90s Tech House and Garage movements that defined dance floors across the UK and US. For him, selection is an art form. It is about patience, timing and understanding how one record can completely reframe the next. His sound is fluid and instinctive, never confined to one lane, moving naturally between different shades of electronic music while keeping a strong sense of groove and direction.

Before fully immersing himself in electronic music, Craig was active in Malta’s alternative scene as the guitarist of Pebble Beach. He later co-founded the DJ duo CND, becoming a familiar presence in the Maltese nightlife circuit. Over the years, he held various residencies across the island and shared lineups with artists such as Black Loops, Kolter, Dana Ruh, Garrett David, Hugo Martinez, Locklead, Jennifer Loveless, Mella Dee, Ewan McVicar and Joss Dean, alongside many respected local names. During this period, he also curated and hosted a series of events under the Usual Suspects brand, contributing to the growth of Malta’s underground community.

Having recently relocated to Brussels, Craig has launched a solo project under his own name. Building on years of experience behind the decks and on stage, he now aims to carve out his place within the city’s thriving electronic scene while continuing to evolve a sound that resists traditional confinement.
