Bio

Caldeira uses homemade instruments made from recycled materials to deliver a sensitive and captivating performance.

He draws inspiration for his compositions from everywhere: daily life, sounds around him and especially the atmosphere from his mother country Brazil.

- Caldeira - Marimbau + Ektara
- This is a fusion of peculiar instruments. Marimbau is a Brazilian instrument, traditionally made with a wooden acoustic box and guitar strings. Ektara is Indian, composed of bamboo, gourd and animal skin. This is an adaptation for both instruments, in which I use sardine, tomato cans and pallet wood.
