Somewhere between the hip-hop culture and techno-raves, between a urban jungle full of grey concrete and dreams of green oases, Instagram stories and real life stories, wearing Gucci and going to demonstrations, between consumption and modesty, ignorance and reflection - their art mirrors a lifestyle full of contradictions and draws from these tensions their musical inspiration.

Growing up in the vibrant Brussels rap culture, Brudi der Lux brings a new attitude to German (& French) hip hop and creates a unique mix of both languages and scenes. He stands for more smoothness, more harmonies & flow, less ego. In his lyrics, he interprets the observations and experiences his generation with all it's contradictions, yet without falling into the usual clichés.

As a producer, VIKET creates the musical foundation for the tracks of the two- his beats, sometimes bouncy, sometimes melancholic, sometimes pure excess. Influenced by Cologne's rave culture, he lets genres from early techno & UK garage to baile funk flow into hip hop. In this way, he creates an experimental but at the same time consistent sound throughout the entire production process - rhythm, bass and breaks under harmonic hooks and direct rap.
