We’re excited to announce the release of our debut full-length album Gravity on April 17 2026, and we’re currently looking to bring our live show to festivals and clubs.

This new Belgian power trio blends the raw intensity of alternative rock, grunge and stoner into an explosive live experience. Expect heavy guitar riffs, pounding rhythms, and lyrics that cut straight to the core. Their sound ranges from melancholic and introspective to loud, bold and high-energy.

Think: Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine, Royal Blood, Tool, King’s X – all with a fresh and original twist.

Live reputation:

In March 2025, Black Primer made a powerful first impression with a sold-out try-out show at The Crossover. Since then, they’ve played a string of shows, sharing stages with acts like Bleach (Eeksken Rockt) and Black Sonic Pearls (De Verlichte Geest).

Black Primer is a promising power trio from Meetjesland. What else could you want when you put together three top-notch musicians like singer/guitarist Peter De Zutter (Charcoalcity, U.S.E. ...), bassist Dirk De Kesel (ex The Difference, Mindtrip), and drum beast Anthony Hooft (Charcoalcity)!

These gentlemen offer a perfect mix of grunge, alternative rock, and even some stoner rock influences! Live, they deliver a powerful, energetic set that will blow you away, with energetic and catchy songs and plenty of variety. And that's not to mention Peter's amazing voice, which will captivate you with its warm, husky tone!
