Area Boy is an Afrobeats artist, born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and based in Belgium. Driven by a deep passion for music, he began his career in 2023. Since then, he has immersed himself in the exhilarating rhythms and influences of Afrobeats and African music.

His musical journey began with the release of his debut single, On Again, in September 2023, which quickly established his name within the Afrobeats scene. In March 2024, he followed up with his second single, further showcasing his versatility as an artist. In April 2024, he released his first EP, a project that not only reflects his musical growth but also his unique sound and vision.

Area Boy has already showcased his energetic and charismatic performances on various major stages. In March 2024, he performed at the iconic Montorollo Festival on the Grote Markt in Leuven, where he captivated the audience with his powerful performance. Later that year, in October 2024, he shone on stage at Het Depot in Leuven during the RAUW event. This performance was even noticed by the Belgian press and was discussed in the newspaper HUMO, where his emerging potential was praised.

With his own unique twist on Afrobeats and his fresh approach to music, Area Boy has quickly positioned himself as an artist to watch.
