Ardenne Heavy is a Thrash / Heavy Metal band born

in 2005 of a great friendship between four people from Ardennes for the love of music.

After scouring the local scenes and giving birth to two self-produced demos in 2011 and

2012, Sim on vocals and guitar, Nico on second guitar, Ced on bass and Ludo on drums

the privilege, at the beginning of 2013, of being selected during the springboards to represent the province of

Luxembourg at the Durbuy Rock Festival.

At the beginning of 2014, the group self-produced its first 5-track EP "The EP With No Name"

recorded at Ear We Go Studio. The EP received a good reception from critics and the public, allowing the

group to perform concert dates such as the Ward'in Rock Festival, the Donkey Rock Festival,

the Nordic Rock Festival, L'Entrepôt, American Rock, Hop'n'Roll or even La Guerre des Gaules where

they were able to open for Skindred and Mass

Hysteria!

In 2017, Loris, fifth member and new guitarist

joins the group. New compositions are emerging and

resulted in the group's first album entitled "No

Nuts No Glory". This was released on August 26, 2017 during the

6th edition of American Rock, festival whose

members of the group are organizers and founders.

2021 marks the year of renewal for Ardenne

Heavy because Loris leaves the group to be able to flourish in his other projects.

The original line-up reformed, the 4 Ardennes recompose new pieces, motivated as

in the early days of sharing their passion for live music.

Adenne Heavy est un groupe de Thrash / Heavy Metal né

en 2005 d'une grande amitié entre quatre ardennais pour l'amour de la musique.

Après avoir écumé les scènes locales et donné naissance à deux démos autoproduites en 2011 et

2012, Sim au chant et à la guitare, Nico à la seconde guitare, Ced à la basse et Ludo à la batterie ont

le privilège, début 2013, d'être sélectionnés lors des tremplins pour représenter la province du

Luxembourg au Durbuy Rock Festival.

Début 2014, le groupe sort en autoproduction son premier EP 5 titres "The EP With No Name"

enregistré au Ear We Go Studio. L'EP reçoit un bon accueil de la critique et du public, permettant au

groupe d’enchaîner les dates de concerts comme le Ward'in Rock Festival, le Donkey Rock Festival,

le Nordic Rock Festival, L'Entrepôt, l'American Rock, l'Hop'n'Roll ou encore La Guerre des Gaules où

ils ont pu faire la première partie de Skindred et Mass

En 2017, Loris, cinquième membre et nouveau guitariste

intègre le groupe. De nouvelles compos voient le jour et

aboutissent au premier album du groupe intitulé "No

Nuts No Glory". Celui-ci sort le 26 août 2017 lors de la

6ème édition de l'American Rock, festival dont les

membres du groupe sont organisateurs et fondateurs.

L’année 2021 signe l’année du renouveau pour Ardenne

Heavy car Loris quitte le groupe pour pouvoir s'épanouir dans ses autres projets.

Le line-up d’origine reformé, les 4 ardennais recomposent de nouveaux morceaux, motivés comme

aux premiers jours à partager leur passion pour la musique live.
