AUFKRAFT is the studio project of psycho-krauters who wallow in the hypnotic maelstrom of German machineloop music.

Think 70s space rock, but then propelled by a repetitive motorik beat and analogue rust. Their sound is predominantly instrumental — a sonic universe of growling synths, pulsating bass lines and fuzz-drenched guitars, with the occasional fragment of lyrics emerging like a cool whisper from another dimension.

AUFKRAFT finds its strength in repetition, trance and texture. A sound that sounds like a train that never stops, or a dream that you just can’t quite hold on to.

Signed under the label GrandPrix!Music Entertainment, AUFKRAFT thunders on uncompromisingly — in the spirit of BRD & DDR e-music , but with their own contemporary twist.
