AARK is a Franco-Canadian artist based in Brussels. Grew up in Paris playing drums and guitar before finding his own voice in electronic music. For the past five years, he has been working as a sound engineer at Fuse, where he has been immersed in some of the best electronic music experiences there are in Belgium. This experience has given him a clear sense of what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing.

As a DJ, AARK navigates the outer edges of hypnotic techno, industrial textures, and experimental soundscapes. His sets are driven with precision and contrast, rigid percussion, fractured breaks, cold energy, and unexpected turns. He favours deep tension over fast reward, building dancefloor momentum through subtle control rather than obvious impact.

In the studio, AARK spends most of his time experimenting with hardware drum machines, synths, samplers, guitar pedals and so on…. chasing textures that feel alive and unpredictable. Not trying to polish things or fit into a mould. It’s about movement, distortion, pressure, sculpting sound that hits deeper than the surface.

His influences span across genres from the broken rhythms of Umwelt and Upsammy, to the intensity of DVS1 and Oscar Mulero, the raw force of Helena Hauff, the emotional weirdness of Sybil, and the genre-bending chaos of Tzusing and NVST. All different styles with the same spirit: pushing limits, breaking patterns, and leaving space for the unexpected.

AARK’s path is still taking shape but the sound already speaks for itself.
