5lo, Kevin, is a DJ from Ghent. He started spinning records about 6 years ago. At that time he was into dubstep and grime. Spending loads of time collecting vinyl records from Scuba, Skream, James Blake and many more.

After a year or two his focus shifted to Drum & Bass, after attending some great Starwarz editions at Vooruit. At that time he got his first pioneers and started experimenting with digital (USB) deejaying. For the next few years he has been putting mixtapes on mixcloud as STXNT.

After seeing Mount Kimbie, XXYYXX, Baauer, TNGHT at Pukkelpop 2013, he decided to get into the broader spectrum of - non commercial - electronic music: 5lo was born. He's been roaming Soundcloud ever since, on the quest of finding new music, discovering music by Mura Masa, San Holo, GANZ, young Oshi...

Never having more than bedroom-dj ambitions, I simply enjoy playing & discovering music. I do hope I someday get the opportunity to play at some local parties. Be sure to check out my mixtapes on Soundcloud where I share all my goodness.
