Galine
Bio
Galine, a Belgian-Dutch singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, brings forth indie pop with her warm and enchanting voice as its defining feature. Born into a musical family of classical musicians and classically trained herself, she made a notable shift with her choice for pop music. Her inspirations include artists like Stevie Nicks, Florence Welch, and Fiona Apple.
In January 2019, she released her first EP "Fabulae," followed by her second EP "Lilith" in May 2022. These releases did not go unnoticed, resulting in her selection as artist in residence for "het Wilde Westen/de Kreun," a finalist spot in the Nieuwe Lichting, and a performance on the "Revelations Stage" of the showcase festival Sonic City. Galine has graced prominent Belgian and Dutch concert halls and festivals. Luminous Dash described her as "a great talent, the world just doesn't know it yet."
For her highly anticipated debut album, she collaborated with Koen Gisen, known for his work with Meskerem Mees, Naima Joris, and An Pierlé, set to be released in November under the Dutch label Polymoon (Rosa Butsi, Noa Lee).
