Boshra is the project of singer/songwriter Dina Boshra and musicians / producers Raf Cyran & Ben Cyran. It's unexpected, sincere, brings us back to her roots and indulges us in her deepest fantasties. Boshra brings the Arabic and Western world together with experimental, dark and mysterious sounds.

Boshra — donker en bezwerend;

Onze jury werd stil van hun donkere, bezwerende sound die met momenten aan FKA Twigs en Tsar B doet denken.

Boshra is duidelijk trots op haar Marokkaanse en Egyptische roots, want in haar nummer 'Reveal It' hoorde de jury een intrigerende mengelmoes van betoverende arabische klanken en een pakkende westerse sound. En als dat niet genoeg is: ze mixt Frans met Engels aan een niveau dat wij op taalkamp nooit hebben gehaald.

Boshra kicks off her journey with the debut single ‘This Town’. This Town can be interpreted in different ways. The song describes being stuck in a toxic mental space, the daily struggles in life, society who keeps pushing us towards a certain direction and the pressure and stress, resulting in burnouts, bore-outs, stress, fights. But it also describes the inner battle you go through to find your way out of it.
