Beaten by Hippies is a Belgian rock band known for their high-voltage live shows and infectious mix of groove, fuzz and raw energy.

Rooted in the spirit of classic rock but never stuck in the past, the band draws from psychedelic textures, dirty blues riffs and desert vibes—then throws in a wink and a wild grin. Think: rock music that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still hits hard.

Their self-titled debut (released on the independent label Polderrecords) introduced the world to their unapologetic sound and gritty stage presence. Now, with their second album, Beaten by Hippies pushes even further, broadening their horizons.

‘Sidetracked in El Paso‘ dives into more varied territory. It’s still Beaten by Hippies—loud, loose, and full of life—but matured, expanded, and sharpened.
