NL STIKSTOF is een project dat een heel eigen stempel wil drukken op de Belgische hiphop scene. Het collectief experimenteert sinds twee jaar met een brede waaier aan instrumenten en MC's die de verschillende Belgische talen beheersen en gaat op zoek naar alternatieve, onbewandelde paden... Brussel is tegelijk de voornaamste inspiratiebron en de uitvalsbasis van de kern, die andere talenten uit de buurt wil betrekken. De uiteindelijke ambitie is het uitbrengen van een album dat in alle opzichten 'af' is. FR STIKSTOF est un projet qui vise à munir le Hiphop belge de son propre cachet particulier. A la recherche permantente de voies alternatives et inexplorées, le collectif expérimente depuis deux ans avec une large variété d'instruments et de MC maîtrisant les différentes langues belges. Bruxelles constitue non seulement une source-clé d'inspiration, mais aussi un point d'attache pour le noyau du groupe, qui cherche à son tour à impliquer également d'autres talents de leur quartier. Ambition finale : sortir un album qui est "fini" de tout point de vue. ENG STIKSTOF is a project that is driven by the ambition to give the Belgian hiphop scene its very own identity. For two years the collective is experimenting with a broad variety of instruments and MC's speaking the different Belgian languages, permanently in search of alternative, unbeaten tracks. Brussels is both the main inspiration source and home base of the core group which also tries to involve other talents from their neighborhood. Their final ambition is to release an album which is "finished" in all respects.
