Slow Pilot takes flight once again with the upcoming launch of their new album 'Falling off the Earth'.

Together with Luuk Cox, known for his production work for the likes of Stromae, Loïc Nottet, Arsenal, Racoon, Girls in Hawaii and many others, the band dug deep into the process of designing the perfect sound. Balancing between attenuated electronica, tape recorded guitars, and monumental harmonies, they found the sweet spot to make the music flourish, while still leaving enough space for Pieter Peirsman's vocals that draw the listener into his melancholic yet uplifting universe. Slow Pilot sounds both nostalgic and fresh, infused with a retro '80s charm, while subtle electronics add a contemporary edge.

In 2019 kwam debuutplaat 'Gentle Intruder' uit, met Jasper Maekelberg als producer. Vorig jaar speelde Slow Pilot nog live in het druk bekeken programma Khalid en Sophie, en werkten ze ook een theatertournee af doorheen Nederland. Zonet werkte Slow Pilot een support-tournee voor Hooverphonic af in London, Parijs, Milaan, Lille, ...
