Belgian based rapper SKVMKID, aka SK, has always been a huge fan of all kinds of music, in particular rap. It was only at 15 years old, however, when he decided to start writing himself. He immediately fell in love with the craft and knew that this is what he wanted to do. Since then SK has been using music as an outlet, fighting his own personal battles, but also trying to help others through his music. In 2019 he released his first EP "Broken Hearts Never Heal", a project with a powerful meaning. Containing songs about love, depression, heartbreak, etc. it was a way to show others that they are not alone. Ever since the EP, SK has been making some more music, featuring on other artists' tracks but he's also been going through some changes and with those changes comes a new sound. In his newer tracks, he has been experimenting with new influences and we feel like he has finally found the sound that fits him perfectly. His new album DragonOfTheWest, released in November, completely embodies this change from SK to SKVMKID.
