Started dj-ing at the age of 15 under the Awk Wariuz-alias.

At that time I've got heavy influenced by artists like Jeff Mills, Dave Clark, Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Speedy J, just to name a few..

As Awk I've played at many parties and clubs such like Cherry Moon, former BBC (Art-Fact-parties), smaller clubs in Ghent and local parties.. In the past I've also thrown many parties, such like the B4F-afterparties, Vacuum, Tech-Niche and now, a freshly born concept, MindLab!

After a 3-year-break of playing and producing electronic music due to tinitus, I've decided to hit the decks again!! I figured, new start, new alias, so these days you can hear me play dark, spacey techno as Self-Reliant Audio Device! And thanks to vi.be, I've recently shared the Red Bull Elektropedia-stage @ The Lokerse Feesten with artists like Phase (Token) and Kr!z (Kozzmozz), by winning my very first dj-contest!
