Bio
Romano Nervoso are the Italo-Belg band that were handpicked by Johnny Hallyday himself to be his opening act for his Belgian tour dates! That’s right, punks!
Since bursting onto the scene in 2009, the band has been tearing up the live music scene full speed ahead and show no signs of slowing down! They’ve proved themselves as the “Godfathers of Spaghetti Rock” while gracing some of the most iconic stages in Belgium such as the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, the VK, the Botanique, the National Theater and many more. They turned up the heat at some of the best summer music festivals Europe has to offer and now, after having been support acts for bands such as Electric Six, Band of Skulls, Skip the Use, Boots Electric, the Datsuns, the Sonics, King Khan & the Shrines and Johnny Hallyday, the time has come for the Italian Stallions to take center stage. The English can’t get enough of them, the Italians have adopted them and even the French have caught on.
The bands critically acclaimed debut album, “Italian Stallions” - distributed by PIAS - knocked people’s socks off, pealed the wallflowers off the walls and seduced millions with the sultry sounds of rock & roll. They released their second album - the aptly named “Born to Boogie” – in late 2014 and have since been playing numerous sold out concerts with a European tour on 2015/2016.
The 3rd album is in the cards and will be released in 2017.
