Native Speakers was formed in 2012 in and around Brussels when Max, Stino and Kasper - who had been playing together as Lake Dive for 2 years - were rejoined by singer Thibaut. After a few months of rehearsals they played their first shows.

The combination of raw rock sounds mixed with subtle pop and psychedelic influences was well received by the audience. The band manages to create a noisy or syncopated tension only to be released by a simple melody or a repetitive pattern.

Native Speakers is well on its path to improve on its sonic performances and experiment with new rhythmic and harmonic landscapes which they hope will convince you too.
