ABOUT:

La Nausée is a new sludge metal project hailing from Ghent, Belgium. Inspired by Belgian bands like STAKE, DRUMS ARE FOR PARADES and RAKETKANON, who regularly played hometown Ghent, but also influenced by international acts IRON MONKEY, BLACK TUSK and DEFTONES a heavy and dirty guitar sound is being driven by distorted vocals. The drums are all over the place, pushing the songs forward relentlessly with frequent tempo changes.

Originated as a solo project in 2021 by Jelle De Bock, La Nausée is now a full band:

-15/01/2021: La Nausée released their first single ‘SPLIT’, accompanied by a lyric video.

-07/05/2021 the EP 'Battering ram' was released on CD and Cassette on Spectral Hound Records.

-07/04/2022 the EP 'Disorder' was released.

-in 2023 the EP 'They Prey' was released. (released together with the EP 'DISORDER' on CD on Gio Smet Records)

-songs are featured on the 'Sounds of Hell' and 'Face Your Underground' compilation CD's
