Iskander Moon is the folkpop project of singer-songwriter Iskander (22) who expresses his love through songs made behind ivory keys. Growing up next to the canal made him think about the natural flow of life and has had an effect on the songs he writes today, resembling a warm winter embrace. Currently, Iskander is finishing his masters in Music Production, producing whatever comes on his path. Besides being bass player in some projects, his path as a singer-songwriter is taking more and more of a lead role in his life. Inspired by artists like Bon Iver & RY X, backed up by a small but versatile group of musicians they will make the water in you move. In 2022 he was lucky to perform and write in places like: Berlin (DE), New York (US), Boston (US), Kingston (CDN), Firenze (IT), Calabria (IT), ... In 2023 he performed in Lisbon (PT), Barcelona and Valencia (ES) as well. But Iskander looks forward to expand the connection with with the people in his home country. We share the same moon after all.
