Marc De Keyzer - Biography
Marc De Keyzer is a musician and a music industry veteran who worked for several major record companies over the past 25 years.
Starting in 1989 with Polygram (Universal Music) he was named promotion manager for the label group Phonogram (today Mercury). During this period many local and international bands were taken care of by Marc for radio and press promotion as well as general marketing purposes.
He worked on the Black album from Metallica, as well as Bon Jovi's “Keep the faith” and Paul Weller's “Wild wood”, to name just a few.
On the local side he delivered work on the startup career of Noordkaap and The Scene.
In 1995 a new start at BMG. He oversaw overall marketing activities for bands like the Foo Fighters , Garbage and David Bowie.
Beginning 2000 Marc went to work for the Sony Music catalogue where his greatest experience was the relaunch campaign on the entire remastered AC/DC catalogue.
Since 2004, his work was continued in the media where Marc was responsible for all music tv campaigns, both for domestic and international artists at Vmma .
In 2011 Marc De Keyzer, being drummer , decided to start a recording studio.
Atomika Studios started as a project studio and developed quickly into a great sounding pro studio. With Atomika studios he provides an international service with eMixing.be, whereas bands from anywhere in the world can provide their wavefiles and receive back a radio, CD and iTunes-ready track.
In 2013 Marc De Keyzer launches EigenBeheer.be.
This platform provides all advice for musicians and bands and foremost realises their plans to produce, promote and sell their music without record deal !
