Dimitry Kouchnir (1997) is a singer-songwriter, producer, and guitarist from Antwerp, Belgium. Being a writer at heart, he started writing poetry and prose at the age of 14, while also attending a variety of dance classes. During these classes he got exposed to artists such as Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar, but also instrumental artists like Aphex Twin, Ratata, and Gold Panda. Aside from those influences he regularly listened to bands such as Nirvana, Linkin Park, Pixies, and Pink Floyd. It was the exposure to this blend of hip-hop, pop/rock, and electronic music that would play a crucial role in developing his sound.
