Growing up in a post-industrial area, surrounded by remnants of the former mining industry in Limburg, Belgium—techno rooted DJ and producer Dario Desaer—infuses these traces of the past into his sonic tapestry, creating a captivating fusion of history and modernity.

With a discerning ear honed through years of immersion in the electronic music scene, Dario made his mark in 2022 with the independent release of his debut single. This marked the beginning of a remarkable ascent, capturing industry attention and paving the way for further releases, including the release of his debut EP, 'Ultrapure,' on the Slovenian imprint Kibernet Kriminalität.

Driven by a passion for dark electronics, Dario embarked on a personal mission to enrich his local scene. Together with co-founder Sam Londero, he launched Dieptewerk—a grassroots initiative fostering connections between artists and enthusiasts through intimate events and club nights.

Drawing inspiration from Belgium's rich electronic music history, Dario’s sound is characterized by subtle rhythms, atmospheric textures, and evocative motifs, showcasing the artist's modern interpretation of heavy, industrial sounds. Each project he creates defines his pursuit of a singular musical identity.
