Arky is a bass player/producer with a passion for crafting expressive music. During the lockdown in 2020, after a decade-long hiatus, Arky delved back into music production and distribution under his indie label, "Roar Like A Bass."

The ensuing sonic alchemy saw collaborations with luminaries like Samora, Omar Perry, Double Tiger, Serocee, David Corleone, Micky B, Dhazed, Zoe Mazah, Razteria,...

Rich cultural experiences shape Arky Starch’s journey. He co-founded Dread Invasion and worked with Heartwash, Sun Flower Crackers (ska-punk-reggae), Alex Kajumulo, ..., and Yosa (drummer and studio engineer for Dread Invasion before they parted ways). My Music attempts to gently break down emotional barriers, creating a sense of openness, vulnerability, and connection. It evokes sincerity, warmth, and comfort, making listeners feel safe and emotionally moved. These are some reasons why I love to play reggae and bass in a dub style — to heal & feel free.
