Alice Mae, originally named Alexia, grew up stealing her parents’ CDs to immerse herself in classic alternative rock. Inspired by legendary bands like Oasis, The Rolling Stones, and U2, she vowed to create authentic, no-nonsense rock music infused with a female perspective in a predominantly male scene. Now, at 26 years old she’s fulfilling that promise.

Her style reflects her casual nature, yet she can touch you deeply with her special, lived-in voice. Her singing style is raw and sincere, and she has a unique way of conveying her feelings that go straight to the heart.

She writes to make sense of her messy mind, conveying her thoughts into lyrics, in the hope that they might make sense at the end. With her raw voice, passion for music, and vibrant personality, she promises to be an artist who not only touches the heart but also uplifts the spirit.

Alice Mae won De Nieuwe Lichting in 2025 and continued a year with successful singles like Better Ways, Some Girls and Only The Broken. 'The Some Girl Summer tour' had stops in 25 festivals in Belgium and The Netherlands.

In a soldout AB club in February 2026 she announced her debut album will be released later this year.
