Kate jo Agnes is a singer-songwriter, composer, producer and solo-artist in the pop-music genre.

After years of taking private vocal lessons with Eline Aussems (better known as “Josie”), she started writing her own songs on the piano.

“Singing has always been a major passion of mine, but it wasn’t until I learned (how) to play the piano that I found my voice, my storytelling. After more than a decade of singing covers all the way during my vocal lessons, I kinda had enough of it and decided I wanted to write my own stuff and see where it leads me. So When I bought my very first keyboard in the end of summer/beginning of fall of 2022, I was very eager of learning how to create music on it. So I started playing on it, I tried different things, you know …just experimenting with chords, lyrics and singing at the same time. I didn’t took me a long time before I wrote my very first song “Saturday Morning”. The other songs “Are we still friends yet?”, “Turn on the radio”, “Ode to you” , “My brain is going overload”, … followed quickly after. And so here we are I guess…

As a singer-songwriter, I like to write about themes that are important to me, close to my life and to who I am as a person/individual. Just simple, day to day -stuff like work, love, family , friendship, … My lyrics are pretty straight forward and direct as I want people to be able to relate to my songs and understand them without much overthinking it”

“My biggest inspirations in music during my childhood were and still are Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Aretha Franklin”

Her debut album entitled “Saturday morning” contains 7 songs she has fully written, composed, produced and sung (without any Record Label). All 7 songs are Live-recordings .

Het debut album was officially released as a digital album on the 28th March 2023 on Apple Music, Itunes and other streaming platforms.

Her second album ‘Just be true to yourself…’ officially released on the 24th september 2023 on Apple Music, Itunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Soundtrack your brand, Triller, Shazam, Youtube Music, iHeart radio, Tencent, KK Box, Boomplay, Pandora, Resso, Net Ease, Claro Musica and Jiosaavn. It contains 10 songs she has fully written, composed, produced and sung.

Her single "A Christmas movie marathon" officially released on the 28th December 2023 on Apple Music, Itunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Youtube Music, iHeart radio, Tencent, KK Box, Boomplay, Pandora, Resso, Net Ease, Claro Musica and Jiosaavn. She has fully written, composed, produced and sung the song.
