The Glücks are the savage Bonny & Clyde garagepunk duo from Ostend(BE) that unleash more sparks than a disc grinder. Slap bang in the middle of a Golden Triangle mapped out by The Cramps, The Stooges and Thee Oh Sees. It's The Exorcist, garagerock style ! Disgruntled & fed up with the state of their lifeless drug city has led these two restless young guns to fall madly in love with one another & start fires all over the place. Tina bangs the skins whilst Alek trashes the strings, both ferociously singing & screaming. Having released a EP's & Singles on their own label [Suck My Goo Records] The Glücks teamed up with Drunkabilly/Monstrophonic Records for their powerful first full-length album “Youth On Stuff”. After relentlessly performing in & out of Belgium, the urge for a new album became unbearable. Going through heaven & hell, confronting life & death, beating their brains out night after night. The Glücks poured every inch of heart & soul into what has become the brand new second album “Run Amok” : Songs for the underdogs, the generation denied.. the generation undefined. . Since the release of "Run Amok" they've been constantly performing including a tour in Europe with Garagerock legends "THE SONICS" & a tour in The Netherlands with Belgium's finest "THE SORE LOSERS". . April 19th 2019 marks the release of their new single "BOUGHT AND PAID FOR" which sees them exploring new musical and visual ideas in condemning the pharmaceutical industry. . They embark on a couple of minitours in Europe including one with Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers! . As we speak, The Glücks are writing their new album and plan on touring Europe once again in october.
