Memo Pimiento is a Mexican music producer who has chosen to live in Brussels, the European capital, for over ten years. He focuses on combining electronic instruments with Latin rhythms, primarily cumbia. His live performance is innovative and organic, featuring live synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, effects pedals, and tapes, all of which he constantly interacts with.

He has produced three studio albums where he draws on his South American roots with influences acquired during his time in Europe and his travels around the world. Featuring music from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as psychedelic electronic sounds that fluctuate between the melodic and the experimental.

Together with his partner Manon, who serves as both performer and singer on the project, they have created energetic shows with an electro-punk attitude within the context of the global nu sound, enveloping attendees in a wild collective dance that turns the live concert into a festive experience. The "Mexican Prodigy," as they were called in Bristol, England.

For eight years, Memo Pimiento has managed to spread new Latin American music to many countries in Europe, America, and Asia. As a solo artist or duo with Manon, they have performed at important venues and festivals such as the Boom Festival in Portugal, the Japan Cumbia Festival in Tokyo, the Fusion Festival in Germany, the Oerol Festival in the Netherlands, Xarkis in Cyprus, and La Noche de Primavera in Mexico City, among a long list of others. They have also performed with artists such as Meridian Brothers and Ghetto Kumbé from Colombia, 47 Soul from Palestine-Jordan, Ray Mix from Mexico, La Dame Blanche from Cuba, and Branco from Portugal, among many others.
