The Whereabouts ofJ. Albert is a band formed around singer/songwriter Joeri Dobbeleir (MOTOR!K). Their music can be described as a blend between singer-songwriter, roots music and shoegaze.

Their second album "Methodology" was released in October 2020 through the German label No Emb Blanc Records/Genetic Music (LP/CD/Digital)

The band played as a support act for Daniel Lanois, Sivert Hoyem (Madrugada)...and lots of club shows and festivals in Belgium and The Netherlands.

Their debut album "The Whereabouts of J. Albert" was released april the 7th 2017 on Greedy Eyes Records/Sonic Rendezvous Distribution (LP/CD/Digital)

Two of their songs( Keep On Falling Out and Hangman's Rope) were used as a soundtrack for the popular documentary 'De Fiscus' on Belgian National Television, VRT 2016-2017.
