Starting fine-art printer based in Ghent

-Reproductions (15EUR per finished file)

A good reproduction of your physical artwork is possible through tight colorflow management. A camera captures your work with a color checker. Thanks to this color reference and the attached software it's possible to create a reproduction with near perfect colours and contrast. Most people use the software from xRite in combination with Adobe's software, the current near-monopolitan market leaders in digital image and color management.

For the reproduction, I come towards the artwork or any place convenient for you and the artwork. I bring my camera, lights and colorchecker and create the digital file on location. You'll receive the finished files the same day or the day after.

-Posters

Any digital file with a high enough resolution can be printed as a fine-art poster. These are printed with the Epson p900, an inkjet printer that uses Ultrachrome ink.

The paper used for a poster makes the price vary in between

• 5-12EUR for an A2 poster (width of 40cm)
• 2,5-6EUR for an A3 poster (width of 30cm)
• 1,25-3EUR for an A4 poster (width of 20cm)
• 0,30-0,75 for a postcard (width of 10cm)

I recommend the A3 format, printed on Enhanced Matte paper 180gsm, set at 3EUR (with a merchandise resell value at least three times higher). This price includes overhead, packaging and labor. The only thing excluded is the potential delivery cost.

Payment at delivery

• tip: This business specialises in small editions of high quality prints. If you want to print extremely high volumes where quality is less important, I suggest a print shop that uses digital offset printing. They usually provide faster and cheaper solutions.
