In the summer of 2024, four guys met for a blind date in a bar. In a haze of laughter and shared stories they discovered a mutual love for obscure rock music and an undeniable chemistry. More guys were added to the mix. Shaken. Well stirred.

The Penrose 5 fuses influences of rock from the eighties and nineties with modern indie to create a sound that is both fresh and nostalgic. Their music explores themes of heart aches, the obsessive need to be liked and being constantly restless.
