Opossum is a Belgian rock band, based in the region of Sint-Niklaas and founded in 2008.

They've played festivals like Suikerrock, Fonnefeesten, Zogrock, Deistelrock, Temse In De Wolken, Schil On Stage, Paletrock.

Opossum's played with bands like Nailpin, Roxette, The Baseballs, Tom Dice, Tom Helsen, The Kids, Steak Number Eight, ABN, Destine, Sweet Coffee, Horses On Fire, Billy The Kill, Vienna and Mid Air Collision.

They've already released 2 EP's which both were sold out.

In 2014, they released a new album "Ignorance is Bliss". The video of their first single "The Last Time" is getting aired on national tv stations JIM, TMF and MTV.

For the album they worked with Filip De Bot (Penthouse Studio) and Oscar Holleman (Studio RS29), a dutch producer, known for producing albums for Krezip, Within Temptation, Heideroosjes, ...
