Vermilion is an instrumental progressive metal band with some strong jazz and fusion influences. The band is composed of members from the region of Ghent.

Think Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders, Dream Theater, Opeth, Chimp Spanner, Mr Bungle and Exivious, but also Allan Holdsworth, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea and Pat Metheny.
