Static Party Poses is the band grown out of two brothers’ shared love for 90’s indie-rock. Together with three other musicians they create uncompromised home-recorded albums and intriguing live shows. Think of wallflowers in full blossom, characterized by lo-fi tape sounds. The creeping nostalgia for nineties bands is reflected in their cracked vulnerable vocals and charmingly enchanting guitar riffs. Their interaction between multi-layered atmospheric musical arrangements and societal-critical lyrics with a twisted touch gives them a unique attitude, on the edge between now-ness and changeability.
