They are Belgian, with different backgrounds and training. Their musical bond brought them together in 2006, for the pleasure of composing together. Their first album Cave Canem! came out in 2010.

On the violin, Sébastien Taminiau, has a classical background. Pierrot Delor, on percussions, adds a note of rock. On the guitar, Benoit Minon, comes from the world of jazz. Ans finally Kryztof Meyer on the diatonic accordion adds a traditional and folk music background. Together they compose a melting pot of melodic and rhythmic pieces of music, with very personal and multicultural sounds. They create a peculiar and refined musical texture, spontaneous and full of colours... Cave Canem ! is also a mix of soft Swedish sounds and the liveliness of Mazurka or the folly of a Bourrèia turning into a frenzy of improvisation.

Their new repertoire brings new original compositions, the result of a joyful combination of traditional, jazz, folk and rock music.

When their first album Cave Canem ! came out in 2010, the four musicians had already worked together for a while, mixing European traditional music with jazz, rock and modern music.

Helped by their experience (after six years of existence, more than a hundred concerts among which the Esperanzah! Festival), Cave Canem! is releasing its second album : a journey within, nine tracks, nine different atmospheres, nine tasty courses compose their new album Kaïseki, a bit like a refined Japanese meal. Urgent, powerful, its rhythm finds its strength in the soil, in the cyclical, in the immutable. Aerial melodies open up to us and serve us their music like a good story filled with unexpected twists and turns.

Cave Canem! is also a real presence on stage, a strong tangible bond that moves the audience from the first note.
