NEDERLANDS - The Blue Heathens is een jazzgroep uit Antwerpen. Zij bezitten de authentieke hot sound, typerend aan de jazzbands van New Orleans en Chicago in de jaren twintig en dertig. Binnen de kortste keren wisten zij een klinkende reputatie op te bouwen dankzij hun professionele aanpak en hoog entertainmantgehalte. Zij spelen zowel bestaande nummers als eigen composities en voeren deze op een sterke manier uit, dit gaat met de nodige ambiance gepaard en zette reeds menig volk aan het dansen!

FRANÇAIS - The Blue Heathens est un groupe de jazz venu d'Anvers qui nous transporte au temps du Hot Sound de New Orléans et Chicago des années 20 et 30. Ils ont rapidement connu une excellente réputation grâce à leur professionnalisme et la super ambiance qu'ils font naître pendant leurs concerts. Leur répertoire consiste en chansons connues mais aussi leurs propres compositions. Tout cela joué d'une façon rafraîchissante et contagieuse. Vous ne pourrez pas résister à la tentation de danser!

ENGLISH - The Blue Heathens are a group of experienced musicians based in Antwerp –Belgium– who bring back the hot sound of the New Orleans and Chicago jazzbands from the 1920s and 1930s. Within a short timespan, they have gained a reputation for solid musicianship and entertaining live shows. Their repertoire is a mix of covers and original songs, performed in a fresh, infectious style that puts a smile on the listener's face and invites the old and young alike to dance.
